It’s no secret that we love Brooks’ comfortable, supportive sneakers. Whether we’re running, walking or hitting the gym, they’re a go to brand for a lot of us. But did you know that Jennifer Garner loves the brand’s shoes too? Seriously, she’s been spotted wearing Brooks sneakers around at least a handful of times this year.
One pair of Brooks shoes she can’t seem to stop wearing, however, are the Brooks Adrenaline 23. She’s been spotted out and about in the pair as recently as May, and we’ve seen her wear them on her Instagram just last week. These shoes are the updated version of a pair our editors already swear by. Known for their balance of both lightweight and supportive design, it’s a shoe that works for so many folks whether you’re a seasoned runner or want to just walk around your neighborhood.
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23
The Adrenaline GTS 23 sneaker is a shoe designed for both runners and walkers who are looking for added reinforcement for their feet and their whole body. They are fitted with many of the hallmarks Brooks sneakers are known for, including lightweight materials and a breathable design. The main difference within the shoe is the added level of support that falls around your heel, keeping you from over-pronating or stepping off balance with each stride.
Assistant General Manager Penelope Wall has been wearing the previous version of these sneakers, the Adrenaline GTS 22, for years. They were first recommended to her by a sales associate at a shoe store, after Wall had explained that she was experiencing pain in her achilles tendon while training for a half-marathon. The added guidance from the shoes has kept her feet in check ever since. Plus, these shoes are also podiatrist-recommended, too.
The main update with the 23 model is that the shoe’s cushioning is even more lightweight than before, adding an airy step with each stride. It’s no wonder Garner keeps wearing them, since they also have more cushioning than your standard sneaker.
They have a breathable mesh upper, so you can wear them for hours at a time. The sole also has traction designed for the road, that way you’ll feel secure as you go. With a tapered off midsole, the shoes are also designed with smooth transitions in mind.
Garner owns the shoes in a perfect-for-spring baja blue, wisteria and yellow lime colorway, though they’re also available in options like a black, light blue and purple, a fun blue glass, nile blue and marina colorwar and a softer crystal gray, villa and white colorway.
You truly can’t go wrong with the editor-loved Adrenaline GTS shoe. Now that Garner is sporting the updated GTS 23 version, it’s all the more reason to add your favorite color to your cart for all of the spring and summer outings ahead.
