Whether you’re in the market for an espresso maker to play at-home barista, a drip coffee maker for getting through the day, or single-serve coffee maker for space-saving, economical coffee consumption, you’ll likely find Prime Day coffee maker deals that fit your coffee needs on Prime Day.
When is Prime Day 2024?
No date has been announced yet, but Amazon Prime Day usually happens in mid-July. Though it started as a one-day sale, it now covers 48 hours of deals and discounts on items in just about every category you can think of, including kitchen gadgets, countertop appliances, and certainly, coffee machines. Amazon also added a second sale similar to Prime Day in October of 2022 and 2023, offering a jumpstart on Black Friday and holiday shopping.
Which kind of coffee maker should you buy?
That all depends on which kind of coffee you like and how you prefer to drink it. If coffee is a volume game for you, the most bang (and bean) for your buck out of a drip machine with a large carafe. If you’re a less-frequent coffee drinker who likes to keep things simple, then consider a single-serve machine or French press. If you’re into making your own lattes, cappuccinos, or other espresso shot-centric beverages on the daily, you might find a one-touch, automatic espresso machine and milk frother combo to be the way to go. Also determine if you like to fine tune your grind or not, and consider whether a separate or built-in burr grinder should also be part of your setup. (And let’s not forget, some like it hot and some don’t, so there are options for cold brew makers and iced coffee-capable machines, too.)
Because one person’s best coffee maker is necessarily the same as another’s, you can find our guide to the best espresso machines here, and if drip is your thing, we have a guide to buying those as well. Finally, if you just want things to be easy and clean (i.e. Nespresso coffee pods), then you can find our reviews of single-serve coffee machines here.
