Trader Joe’s just announced a recall on one of their fan-favorite candles, according to a recent company announcement. This is due to the product posing a safety hazard.
The candle being recalled is the Trader Joe’s Mango Tangerine Scented Candle with a printed stock keeping unit (SKU) number 56879. These candles may have an “unexpected burn pattern” where the flame can spread from the wick to the wax, which can result in a larger flame that presents a burn or fire risk.
If you have the defective candle on hand, the grocery chain is urging you to discard it or return to your local Trader Joe’s for a full refund. Seek medical attention if you have experienced any injuries after using this candle.
