We don’t know about you, but we can’t remember a time when Post Malone and Blake Shelton’s new song “Pour Me A Drink” wasn’t stuck in our heads. A few short weeks ago, we were wondering if the new country song would be a contender for song of the summer—and, now, we have our answer. The collaboration will be continuously bumping through our airwaves, carrying us all the way to tailgate season—or, at least, until Posty drops his new country album.
Obviously, the playlist is an important part of the backyard barbecue—but, now that we have our go-to songs picked out, it’s time to think about what really matters. The food and drink.
However, planning your potluck, making your menu, and hitting the liquor store are all remiss without the perfect vessel to store them in. How can anyone pour you a drink if you don’t have a cooler chilled and expertly packed for the occasion?
If you’re ready to upgrade your cooler game this summer, Post Malone recently posted a photo with Shelton from the “Pour Me A Drink” music video set featuring their favorite cooler brand. And, we promise, there won’t be any back-breaking trying to keep up with these Joneses because Shelton’s go-to cooler is an affordable Walmart exclusive from Coleman.
That’s right, Shelton and Posty aren’t keeping all those Bud Lights in a $100+ cooler, but rather a $45 Coleman with hundreds of five-star reviews. And, better yet, the wheeled cooler is on sale this week.
Blake Shelton’s Favorite Coleman Cooler
The photo features two Coleman coolers, but the one Shelton is sitting on is the $45 Coleman 316 Series 60QT Hard Chest Wheeled Cooler in the Walmart-exclusive color, Lakeside Blue.
Alongside the heavy-duty “Have-A-Seat” lid that holds up to 250 pounds—a.k.a. why the country music star is OK to sit right on top—the square cooler features two six-inch wheels for easy maneuvering and four cup-holders that can fit up to a 30-ounce tumbler.
Coleman says the 60-quart hard-sided cooler can keep ice chilled in 90 degree F heat for up to four days and will fit 50 cans with 27 pounds of ice. The cooler is leakproof and has a plug at the bottom for easy drainage.
Reviewers love this Walmart-exclusive cooler for its affordable price yet great quality.
“Kept ice for 4 days! Highly impressed at the quality for cost. I was worried about how wobbly the pull up handle felt but braced a 40lb pack of water and it did not fail me. Easy to drain and maintain. Would highly recommend,” one Walmart reviewer wrote.
The Lakeside Blue Coleman 316 Series normally costs $45 at Walmart, however, it’s currently marked down to $40, likely for the store’s Fourth of July sale.
Whether you get it on sale, or not, this Shelton-approved cooler is sure to make summer at some beach that much better.
