The Kelce Brothers Just Teamed up With General Mills for a First-Of-Its-Kind Product

Football season hasn’t even officially kicked off yet, and the Kelce brothers are already making headlines. Who are we kidding—did they ever stop?

During this off-season, Travis and Jason Kelce have been going nonstop, attending Taylor Swift’s international leg of the Eras Tour, playing in celebrity golf outings, and even buying a beer company. Now, as Travis heads back to training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs and the newly retired Jason suits up for his new “Monday Night Countdown” gig, the brand partnerships are only just beginning.

It’s unclear how many commercials the brothers will star in this football season, but if this early collab is any indication, we’d wager quite a few. General Mills recently announced it’s teaming up with the Kelces to make an all-new cereal coming to shelves soon.

No, the brothers aren’t making their Wheaties box debut—that’s still reserved for the Watt brothers—but they are creating a new cereal that combines their three favorites.

You might recall Travis and Jason ranked their top five favorite cereals on an episode of their “New Heights” podcast last year. They both chose Reese’s Puffs as their top choice, Travis claiming he could eat an entire box “right now” while they were recording. While their second and third choices were flipped, they both ranked Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms in the top three.

General Mills claims it’s been trying to team up with the brothers ever since that podcast aired to create the first-of-its-kind cereal, and now, both General Mills’ and the Kelces’ dreams have come true. General Mills is releasing a new, limited-edition cereal known as the Kelce Mix that has Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, and Reese’s Puffs all in one box.

That means each bite will feature the best of chocolate-peanut butter puffs, cinnamon-dusted squares, and frosted cereal with marshmallows. Talk about the trifecta.

“I’ve said that I’d eat a whole box of Reese’s Puffs cereal in one sitting, and while I stand by that, our creation might just be the new MVP of the cereal aisle,” said Travis. “We’d go through two to three boxes of our favorite cereals a week when we were growing up, so being able to team up with General Mills now is a full circle moment for us.”

The brand-new product joins the cereal aisle alongside box redesigns for the other Kelce favorites. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Lucky Charms, Reese’s Puffs, and Jason’s honorable mention Honey Nut Cheerios will all feature the new “Kelces’ Pick” stamp of approval.

General Mills’ Kelce Mix and the “Kelces’ Pick” boxes will hit retailers nationwide in September—just in time for the start of the NFL season.

We just wonder if the new cereal mashup will replace Travis’ pregame four-ingredient meal ritual.
