Bojangles Has a New Menu Item for a Limited Time

Is there anything better than fresh fruit at its summertime peak? First come the strawberries, then the blueberries, cherries, and watermelons. Then the peaches show up—sun-kissed, full-of-flavor, juicy peaches. You can put them on your cereal, bake them into pies, turn them into jam, or just eat them straight from the bag.

Bojangles, the Southern fried chicken chain, knows peaches, and its newest menu item aims to prove it.

Bojangles’ New Peach Cobbler

Peach season doesn’t last forever, and neither will Bojangles’ new peach cobbler dessert. For a limited time, the fast food restaurant, which is continuously expanding to other regions of the country, is adding this sweet treat to its menu.

Served warm, the cobber starts with a base of made-from-scratch buttermilk biscuit dough baked with sweet peaches. The warm dessert is finished with icing and a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar.

“Summer is the season for fresh peaches in the South, so we’re excited to serve up a Southern classic with a Bojangles twist. Our new Peach Cobbler is a great example of our chefs using the Bojangles pantry along with seasonally available peaches to bring one of the most iconic and loved Southern desserts to life in our restaurants,” said Marshall Scarborough, vice president of culinary and menu innovation for Bojangles.

The best thing about this Southern staple? It’s available all day long, so you can enjoy it as breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert after enjoying a Bo’s Bird Dog (think breaded chicken snack wrap, but in a hot dog bun).
