Snoop Dogg’s Favorite Midnight Snack Is the Last Thing You’d Expect

After Snoop Dogg went viral during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics for his comment about the horses “crip-walking” on Peacock’s “Olympic Highlights With Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg,” we knew we wanted more Olympics content from the rapper. However, what we didn’t expect was for Snoop to carry the Olympic flame at the 2024 Paris Olympics and become Team USA’s biggest cheerleader.

But, as evidenced by his relationship with Martha Stewart and his lawsuit against Walmart for attempting to “sabotage” his cereal brand, Snoop Dogg is full of surprises. What will never shock us, however, is the D-O-double-G’s need to satisfy the munchies. Sorry, Solo Stove, even your campaign with the rapper where he proclaimed he was “giving up smoke” couldn’t fool us.

In 2023, Snoop teamed up with Jack in the Box to launch Snoop’s Munchie Meal at the fast food restaurant. The meal included a chicken sandwich, taco, curly fries, brownie, and Sprite perfect for satisfying those late-night cravings.

While the fast food smörgåsbord was hand-picked by Snopp himself, it’s actually not what he craves when the munchies hit. In fact, you’d probably never guess what he’s making.

Snoop Dogg’s Go-To Munchies Snack

His go-to midnight snack is hard-boiled eggs, according to an interview with Business Insider.

“They’re fast to make and not hard,” he told the outlet. “Can’t really mess that up.”

He’s got a point. Typically, when those late-night hunger pangs hit, you want something quick and impossible to screw up. Personally, we’d probably go with Stanley Tucci’s preferred peanut butter, banana, and honey on toast or Tim McGraw’s beloved Cocoa Puffs, but to each his own.

When the cooked eggs alone aren’t enough to curb the hankering, Snoop takes the dish one step further, making a nostalgic snack he remembers from elementary school.

“I put the egg in the middle of the toast like the elementary school breakfast they used to give,” he told Business Insider. “We couldn’t wait to get to school to get that hard-boiled egg and put it in the toast. A beautiful thing.”

Snoop is no stranger to nostalgic meals for his late-night go-tos. In his cookbook, “From Crook to Cook: Platinum Recipes from Tha Boss Dogg’s Kitchen,” he calls the “hood classic” fried bologna sandwich a “favorite munchie,” too.

We dig a midnight sammy every once in a while, too, so someone deliver this man a dozen eggs and a loaf of bread to Paris, stat!
