Pop-Tarts Has a Collab We Didn’t See Coming

In the world of nostalgic breakfast foods, Pop-Tarts ranks near the top on our lists of faves. Whether your favorite flavor is the classic Strawberry Frosted, the rich Chocolate Fudge, or a newer seasonal addition to the lineup such as  Pumpkin Pie, if you love Pop-Tarts, then the aroma of one heating up in the toaster probably makes you happy.

Pop-Tarts has had some unusual collaborations lately. Last year, it partnered with Crocs for Croc-Tarts. Its more recent collaboration with Nothing Bundt Cakes was a little less surprising. Then, last month, it dropped its biggest (literally) innovation yet: a giant Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tart big enough to serve 73 people.

None of these variations on the original were as surprising, though, as its most recent product, one that will have your home smelling like your favorite flavor toaster pastry, even when you aren’t toasting (or air frying) any Pop-Tarts.

Pop-Tarts and Goose Creek Launch New Candles

Imagine walking into your home and smelling the aroma of brown sugar and cinnamon, sweet cherry, or chocolatey s’mores—the scents of your favorite childhood Saturday morning breakfasts. Pop-Tarts is banking on fans wanting those aromas even when they aren’t eating a toaster pastry. For its latest collaboration, it’s teaming up with Goose Creek to make Pop-Tarts candles.

The new candles are available in eight different aromas: Frosted Strawberry, Frosted Blueberry, Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon, Frosted Cookies & Cream, Frosted Cherry, Frosted Raspberry, Frosted S’mores, and Frosted Wild Berry. The large 3-wick candles are regularly $25.50, but they are on sale right now for $13.99.

Pop-Tarts fans were excited when the two companies announced the collab on Instagram.

“And as usual like with every collab, I just ordered,” one fan commented. “I need all of these please,” said another. And someone who likes to start their holiday shopping early had a great idea, “Gimme them ALL!! Christmas gifts yay!”

Perhaps the best idea of them all was one that made a lot of sense for the season. “That brown sugar cinnamon is the perfect aroma for fall!,” said another commenter.

The only problem might be that if someone walks into your home and smells any of these Pop-Tarts scents wafting through the air, they may expect something warm coming out of the oven. You’d better have some real Pop-Tarts on hand—or the ingredients to make homemade Pop-Tarts—just in case.
