Walmart recently announced a recall affecting two of its products. The items being recalled are Bacalaitos Criollos Codfish Mix and refrigerated Lactaid Milk.
In a statement, Puerto Rico-based Avole Inc. said it is “recalling 7-ounce bags of Bacalaitos Criollos Codfish Frying Mix because they may contain undeclared fish (pollock).” There have been no reports of illness related to this recall.
Massachusetts-based HP Hood LLC also announced a recall, stating it is pulling “five SKUs of 96 oz containers of Lactaid Milk because the product may contain trace amounts of almond, which is not listed on the label.” No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall either.
Walmart Product Recall Details
Here’s what you need to know about the two recalled products sold at Walmart:
- Avole Inc., Bacalaitos Criollos Codfish Mix: The recall affects 7-ounce bags of Bacalaitos Criollos Codfish Frying Mix. These bags have an expiration date of June 2025 and item number 310925, with the “Best Use By” date located on the back of the bag, top right-center.
