Sonic Just Added 5 New Favorites to Its $1.99 Menu

We’ve been seeing a lot of value meals pop up at our favorite fast food chains, and we’re grateful, to say the least. Arby’s has its $7 value meal with even more meat. KFC recently added not one but two new $5 value meals for us to score some chicken on the cheap. And Taco Bell is offering a Taco Discovery Box for $5—to name a few.

While Sonic may not have a value meal per se, it does have a $1.99 menu that does just the trick—and then some. Here, you can enjoy anything from full-size entrees to tasty drinks offered for less than $2 each. Now, there is even more to be had.

Sonic’s Brand New $1.99 Menu

Sonic recently revamped its $1.99 Menu, adding more items to an already solid line-up for an even larger selection of affordable eats.

The value menu now offers Sonic’s popular Grilled Cheese Burger made of a 100% pure beef patty served on Texas toast alongside Cream Slushes, creamy vanilla soft serve mixed with icy slush in flavors like Blue Coconut, Strawberry, and Blood Orange.

Other items offered on this menu include: Small Jumbo Popcorn Chicken, Queso Wraps in Bacon Ranch and Southwest Crunch, and Small Tots.

Sonic’s $1.99 Menu—or “Fun.99 Menu” as the company calls it—first came out over the summer, featuring a variety of choices, such as the new Queso Wraps, the brand’s popular Chili Cheese Coney Hot Dog, and 16-ounce Shakes.

“We know our guests crave flexibility and value, and our $1.99 Menu continues to deliver delicious, craveable options that please the palate and your wallet,” Ryan Dickerson, Chief Marketing Officer of Sonic said in a recent press release. “While other fast-food spots might lock you into pre-built bundles, Sonic gives you the freedom to mix, match, and save on your favorite items, making it easy to tailor your order to suit your tastes,” he continued. We agree, this personalized experience is hard to beat.

Sonic’s Weekday Deals This Month

Sonic also has daily deals that are pretty stellar as well. No one typically likes Mondays, but the drive-in fast food chain gives us a reason to rethink the start of the week. Customers can get 79-cent medium Slushes from now until the end of October. Also happening all month long is a BOGO deal on those Footlong Quarter Pound Coneys. Buy one footlong and enjoy the second free when you hit up your local Sonic on Thursdays.
