There are so many great flavors of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream to choose from. The brand often uses pop culture names for its pints such as Cherry Garcia (which came in first in our Ben & Jerry’s taste test), The Tonight Dough, Phish Food, and my current personal favorite—Lights, Caramel, Action. Other pints are simply named for what’s inside them, like the PB S’More or Cookie Dough. And each and every one of these pints has its fans.
But when it comes to picking the GOAT (the greatest of all time), it’s difficult, considering just how many delicious flavors the Vermont-based ice cream maker sells. And now that decision is even harder to make because Ben & Jerry’s just announced that it’s bringing back a seasonal flavors that many fans consider the GOAT (greatest of all time).
Ben & Jerry’s Brings Back Pumpkin Cheesecake Flavor
It’s official: Ben & Jerry’s Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream is back. The brand describes the flavor as taking the great taste of pumpkin cheesecake and giving it an “ice cream upgrade, complete with a complementary graham cracker swirl,” calling the treat a “first-class ticket to pumpkin wonderful.”
On the Target product page for this sought-after flavor, one reviewer calls this ice cream the “GOAT…Hands down the most delicious ice cream I have ever eaten!” Another writes that they “have been waiting for its return since they got rid of it last year“ and “will be stocking up!“
Others who give it five stars say it’s “phenomenal” and that it “tastes exactly like pumpkin cheesecake,” adding that they “almost finished the pint in one sitting.“ Another reviewer adds, “The graham crackers add such a nice texture, and the flavor is probably one of the best I’ve ever had.” There are over 175 five-star reviews that echo the sentiment.
The biggest complaint? It’s only a seasonal flavor, typically sold between October and December. Fortunately, it’s only October, so if you’re craving pumpkin cheesecake in ice cream form, you have several more weeks to stock up before Ben & Jerry’s retires the flavor for another year.
