Wendy’s Is Kicking off Summer by Giving Away Free Frostys

Everyone is looking for affordable fast food meal deals these days, and the major chains are stepping up. In April, Taco Bell announced a $5 Taco Discovery Box Deal with a Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, Crunchy Taco, a Doritos Locos Taco, and a medium fountain drink.

Earlier this month, Burger King announced a $5 Your Way Meal with a choice of a Whopper Jr, Chicken Jr, or Bacon Cheeseburger plus a four-piece chicken nugget pack, fries, and a drink.

And just today, McDonald’s announced a $5 Value Meal with a choice of a McDouble or McChicken along with small fries, a four-count chicken nuggets, and a small soft drink.

What do all these meals have in common? They all have four items for $5. Not a bad deal. But none of them were the first to do it. For the past five years, Wendy’s has offered the $5 Biggie Bag Meal Deal with a choice of a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, or Double Stack along with a four-piece chicken nugget, small fries, and a small soft drink. For $1 more, customers can also upgrade their Biggie Bag with a more substantial sandwich.

Now Wendy’s is making its Biggie Bag deal even sweeter by adding a free Frosty for a limited time.

How To Get a Free Wendy’s Frosty

Wendy’s is kicking off a Biggie-er summer on the first day of the season, June 20, along with celebrating five years of its Biggie Bag by giving everyone who orders a Biggie Bag—through Wendy’s app, the website, or in-store by scanning the in-app offer—a free small Frosty through June 30. 

Frosty lovers can choose from the classic Chocolate or the new seasonal Triple Berry Frosty. 

So if you’re trying to add up which $5 meal deal is the best bargain at the moment, with the addition of a free Frosty, Wendy’s seems to have the most bang for your $5 bill, at least until June 30.
