Taco Bell Has a New Flavor of a Fan Favorite for a Limited Time

French fries are a staple at most fast food restaurants. They’re so popular that all the value meal deals that have popped up in the past several months include French fries—except for Taco Bell’s value meals. Both its $5 Taco Discovery Box and its $7 Luxe Cravings Box are bereft of the Mexican-inspired chain’s famous Nacho Fries, probably because they are more than just fries.

The Nacho Fries are French fries seasoned with Mexican spices and include a side of nacho sauce for dipping. Fans love them and are never happy when they leave the menu, as they tend to do. They last reappeared this past April in their regular form—fries with nacho cheese dipping sauce—and in the form of Secret Aardvark Nacho Fries, topped with slow-roasted chicken, a three cheese blend, sour cream, nacho cheese sauce, and pico de gallo—turning them into more than just a side.

Now, in more good news, Taco Bell has new, limited-time meal-like Nacho Fries launching on July 18, and that’s not all…The fast food giant is also bringing back the Nacho Lover’s Pass.

Taco Bell’s New Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries

Taco Bell

For a limited time, Taco Bell is adding Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries to its menu alongside its Crunchwraps, tacos, and Baja Blasts. The restaurant’s spicy fries will be topped with a Jalapeño Ranch sauce made with buttermilk, sour cream, garlic, red jalapeño, pasilla peppers, parsley, and spices, adding even more spice. On top of that, Taco Bell adds pico de gallo and your choice of seasoned beef or black beans. Sounds like this summer’s Taco Bell Dragonfruit Freeze would be the perfect accompaniment to cool your mouth off from these special, spicy fries.

If you prefer the traditional Nacho Fries, Taco Bell still has those, and it’s offering a great deal on them for its Rewards Members.

Taco Bell Brings Back the Nacho Fries Lover’s Pass

From July 9 to 15, Taco Bell Rewards Members can get a $10 pass, giving them 30 days of Nacho Fries, one order each day. (Note: The new Jalapeño Ranch Nacho Fries aren’t part of the deal.)

For Taco Bell fans who are bummed that the value meals don’t come with Nacho Fries, this means that for 30 days, they can order them alongside the value meal for just about $.33 a day. Talk about an excellent deal!
