Reese’s Just Brought an International Favorite to the U.S. For the First Time

We all know the feeling. You’re scrolling through social media and see a snack that you know you’d love. You excitedly check to see where you can snag some for yourself and quickly realize that it’s only available internationally. Just like when the Grimace Shake returned but only to Canada, the disappointment sets in. If you’re lucky, you can order the products online. But sometimes the high cost from resellers and shipping fees are just more than you want to pay, especially for a product you haven’t even tried yet.

It’s hard to complain, however, because our selection in the States is ever-expanding. Brands like Hershey’s are constantly stocking the shelves with innovative products and unique flavors. It’s clear Hershey’s is paying attention, bringing fan-requested flavors back with regularity. While not all of our pleas have been answered just yet, the confectionary giant is finally bringing two Canadian favorites stateside.

New Reese’s Pieces With Chocolate Cookie and Reese’s Pieces With Caramel

Reese’s is always a candy aisle favorite and now there are two new ways to enjoy the brand’s beloved chocolate-peanut butter combo. After previously only being sold in Canada, Reese’s Pieces with Chocolate Cookie and Reese’s Pieces with Caramel Flavor will now be available in the U.S. for the first time.

Reese’s Pieces with Chocolate Cookie combines an indulgent crunchy cookie center with the brand’s signature peanut butter and chocolate candy coating. For a softer bite, fans can opt for the caramel variety, which swaps the cookie for a smooth, caramel-flavored center. 

For the last year, the filled Reese’s Pieces have ignited our FOMO as we’ve watched our neighbors to the north enjoy the multi-textured treats. One Redditor in Canada shared a photo of Reese’s Pieces with Chocolate Cookie and gave them a 10/10 rating. Commenters were excited to get their hands on a bag. “I swear, one day I’m road-tripping to Canada just for the candy (and all dressed chips),” wrote one. Another added, “Everything Reese’s is just perfect.” 

We can only hope that the two new varieties will eventually hit major retailers nationwide but for now, they seem to only be available from Hershey’s directly. The Hershey’s Chocolate World Store posted an Instagram photo of the new candies on the sales floor, sharing with fans that the products are currently an exclusive. Fortunately, hopeful customers who aren’t planning to visit Hershey, Pa. any time soon can also stock up in the online store.

It’s not yet clear if the new options will be limited-time only or are a permanent fixture, so be sure to grab a bag, or two, in case they don’t stick around.
