There’s a wisp of fall in the air—and if you’re like me, after all the summertime cookouts and grilling, I really want food that feels more wholesome and grounded. Many of these items will make for a healthy breakfast to get your day started in an energizing way—or a simple supper to end your day. There’s even a little something for your tailgating parties. These deals run from August 28 through September 22, so get them while they’re available!

Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Seed + Flax Granola

$3.40 off a 35.3-oz. bag, limit 2

I love granola! It’s versatile and allows for so many uses—from snacking on it all by itself to pairing it with milk to sprinkling it on top of a smoothie bowl. And while I love making my own granola, when there’s a sale on a granola that’s lower in added sugar compared to other brands, I snap it up. So this month I’ll be grabbing a couple of bags of this Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Seed + Flax Granola. Oats, pumpkin seeds and flaxseed all provide gut-loving fiber to help fill you up and keep your gastrointestinal tract happy. They also have heart-health benefits—in part due to their fiber. Pumpkin seeds and flaxseed also add heart-healthy fat to the granola. Since this granola doesn’t have nuts, I’ll be adding pecans, walnuts or almonds for an extra boost of healthy fats and protein.

MadeGood Organic Granola Minis

$4 off a 24-count variety pack, limit 5

These MadeGood Organic Granola Minis are great for breakfast or snacking on the go. The siblings behind the brand also made good on their mission to develop wholesome snacks for kids. Besides the typical oats that make a granola’s base, these poppable minis are infused with vegetable extracts that increase their vitamin and mineral content—including vitamins A, C, D, E and a couple of B vitamins. So you can sneak some extra nutrition into your kids and feel good knowing they’re “made good.” If these are sold out by the time you get to Costco, you could also make your own granola bars and cut them into small, bite-size pieces. You know those will be made good, too.

Go Raw Organic Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds

$3.60 off a 22-oz. bag, limit 5

Pumpkin season is almost here, and pumpkin seeds are sometimes a forgotten part of the pumpkin. Pumpkin seeds are a crunchy addition to soups, salads, yogurt, trail mix, oatmeal and, yes, granola. I love sprinkling pumpkin seeds on top of butternut squash soup or pumpkin baked oatmeal. And pumpkin seeds are nutritious, too. They provide fiber, protein, antioxidants and healthy fats. These Go Raw pumpkin seeds are sprouted, which makes them easier to digest and their nutrients more readily available for your body to absorb compared to raw seeds that have not been sprouted.

Kodiak Power Cakes Flapjack & Waffle Mix

$4 off a 4.5-lb. box, limit 5

I love a good pancake or waffle for breakfast or dinner. I usually make the batter from scratch, but when I tried Kodiak Power Cakes Flapjack + Waffle Mix for the first time, I knew my homemade pancakes had met their match. Made with a blend of whole-wheat and oat flours, these cakes give you a nice dose of fiber. Plus their nutty flavor just feels wholesome and balances out the tanginess from the buttermilk. But sometimes, pancakes alone can leave you feeling hungry again pretty quickly (hello, hangry). This brand has a solution to that. Their mixes include whey protein and milk protein so they’ve got 15 grams of protein per serving when made with water. Want more? Make them with eggs and milk. Sometimes I move away from tradition (pure maple syrup, I see you!) and have these pancakes with almond butter and chia berry jam. Not only are these toppers delicious but they also add more nutrients—and the extra protein and fiber make the meal stick even longer and stabilize my blood sugar better. Regardless of what you top these cakes with, they’re so good that the mix even made our list of the top six healthy pancake mixes and took the top spot as the best buttermilk pancake mix.  My recommendation: Go to the limit on this one and get those five boxes!

Comvita Certified UMF 20+ Raw Manuka Honey

$99.99 after $50 off two 8.8-oz. jars

I know that’s a lot of money for honey but hear me out. Manuka honey is special. It touts antiviral, antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s the kind of honey that is used in wound-healing products. According to the brand’s website, manuka honey can have upward of 20 times the amount of individual compounds found in other kinds of honey. And it’s more expensive because it’s rare and only produced in the remote hills and forests of New Zealand from the manuka flower, which only blooms for two to six weeks. This means that the bees have as little as 12 days to collect the nectar of the manuka flower to make the honey for the year. The UMF 20+ rating means that the honey has the highest concentration of active compounds found in honey.

Amylu Paleo Andouille Chicken Sausages

$4 off a 40-oz. package

OK, on to tailgating! Are you ready for some football? These Amylu Paleo Andouille Chicken Sausages are perfect for your parties. Grill them up for a traditional sausage sandwich smothered in grilled peppers and onions. Or slice them up and toss them into a slow cooker with grape jelly and chili sauce. Whether you want to take your party up a notch or are looking for a warm, satisfying dinner that’s ready when you get home, these sausages are perfect for a slow-cooker shrimp boil or jambalaya. And because they’re made with chicken instead of pork, they have less saturated fat than traditional sausage and are full of smoky Cajun flavor. They also contain no unnecessary fillers—just chicken and seasonings in these links. Since there’s no limit on how many you can buy, grab a few extra packages and toss them into your freezer to have on hand.

Good Foods Organic Chunky Guacamole or Wholly Guacamole Classic Organic Bowls

$4 off three 10-oz. containers or three 15-oz. bowls, limit 10

What would a tailgating party be without guac and chips? Whether you like your guacamole smooth or chunky, Good Foods has both on sale this month. The chunky version has, you guessed it, chunks of avocado, tomato and onion. You’ll also find cilantro leaves in there. The chunky guac also has serrano peppers, so if you’re not a fan or have a sensitivity to hot peppers, you’ll want to go for the classic version. The classic is also cilantro-free for those who think cilantro tastes like soap. (No judgment—I’ll take your cilantro!) While tailgating and healthy might not always go hand-in-hand, guacamole is a nutritious addition to any party. Avocados are loaded with fiber, antioxidants and healthy fats. And while you can’t beat a crunchy corn tortilla chip for dipping, you could also include some veggies to dip—like celery, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. You can get 10 of these guac bowls, so feel free to load up on them since you can freeze them for up to three months. When you’re ready to use one, simply move it to the fridge for 12 to 24 hours to thaw.

Ninja Dual Zone 10-Quart Air Fryer

$119 after $30 off

Nothing makes your football parties easier than an air fryer. They’re perfect for chicken wings and other foods when you want to have that crispy fried taste without all the fat of traditional frying. And it just so happens that the Ninja Dual Zone 10-Quart Air Fryer is on sale this month to help take your party to the end zone for the win. Ninja air fryers made our top air fryers list, so you know you’re getting a touchdown with this one. The cool thing with the dual zone is that if you want, you can air-fry two different items at the same time. So go ahead, make those Buffalo chicken wings and mozzarella sticks together or jalapeño poppers and burgers at the same time. This air fryer can handle it. And in case you want frozen fruity drinks for your party, the Ninja Professional Blender with Auto IQ is also on sale right now for just $49.99 after $20 off.

Loacker Minis Cream Filled Wafers

$3.80 off an 80-count variety pack

I had to sneak a little something sweet into this list and Loacker Minis Cream Filled Wafers caught my eye—for a few reasons. First, they’re mini, and who doesn’t love a mini anything—like puppies and kittens and babies? Where food is concerned, mini also means portion control if you’re looking for that. Plus, these Loacker Mini Wafers include three flavors that contain at least 30% less sugar than leading wafer brands. They’re also made from sustainably sourced ingredients, including 100% Italian hazelnuts (the Napolitaner wafers), vanilla made from 100% genuine Madagascar vanilla (the vanilla wafers) and chocolate made with cocoa from Loacker’s sustainable farming program in Ecuador (the Cremkakao wafers). They also contain no artificial anything—colors, flavors, preservatives—and no high-fructose corn syrup. And since there’s no limit on these, feel free to stock up. They’re great for giving your kids a little sweet snack in their lunches and would make a great Halloween trick-or-treat.
