Krispy Kreme’s New Fall Menu Is the Best We’ve Seen All Year

As Dunkin’ rolled out its seasonal menu and Starbucks brought back its best fall goodies, we sat back wondering when Krispy Kreme would join the seasonal pastry party. After all, Krispy Kreme’s been busy with several fun releases so far this month, from limited-edition football doughnuts to Barbie-inspired pink pastries.

Well, the wait is finally over. Krispy Kreme has officially unveiled its fall menu, and it’s even cozier and more creative than we’d been anticipating.

Krispy Kreme Launches New Fall Doughnuts

While Krispy Kreme kicked off fall early by bringing back its pumpkin spice classics last month, that was just a sneak peek. Now, the bakery is filling out its fall menu with three all-new doughnuts and one returning favorite, inviting fans to “savor the sweet and spiced flavors of the season,” as shared in an email announcement. 

While some competitors are relying on pumpkin spice to carry them through the season, Krispy Kreme’s Golden Harvest Collection is delivering unique flavor spins like maple buttercream and oatmeal creme pie, and we fully commend the creativity. The bakery even replaced its Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake Swirl Doughnut from last year with a new Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut, and it sounds like fans are fully on board with the switch.

“Need 500 of those salted caramels,” shared one Instagram user.

Here’s a look at the full fall line-up: 

• New Maple Buttercreme Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut topped with maple-flavored buttercreme and fall sprinkles.  
• New Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut: An unglazed doughnut with white Kreme filling, dipped in cookie dough icing and streusel topping, with a dollop of white Kreme and a bite-sized oatmeal cookie. 
• New Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut: An Original Glazed doughnut topped with a swirl of cream cheese buttercreme and dulce de leche flavored filling, sprinkled with salted caramel flavored crunch.  
• Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut: A cinnamon sugar doughnut filled with spiced apple filling. 

Krispy Kreme fans can’t decide which seasonal flavor sounds the sweetest. Some “can’t wait for the maple,” while others can’t wait to sink their teeth into that spiced apple filling all over again.

But, no need to determine a favorite yet. You can pick up the whole Golden Harvest dozen in Krispy Kreme stores now, or find special six-count boxes at select grocery stores for a limited time. Pair these treats with a warm cup of coffee, a cozy blanket, and a crisp September morning, and you’ve got yourself the perfect fall day.
