My Favorite Costco Fall Find Is Finally Back—and I’m Stocking Up to Eat It Year Round

I’m an avid Costco shopper. I make the 40-minute round-trip visit at least twice a month for lots of things (it’s the best place to buy frozen fruit and cheese, in my opinion). But I also love surveying the aisles for great seasonal items. And one of my favorites is finally back in stock—Pumpkin & Bats Ravioli.

I first enjoyed these ravioli two years ago and have been pleased to see that they’ve returned every fall since. Sometimes Costco brings in a new product and I’ll never see it again (I’m still hoping they bring back the Peruvian chicken I discovered two years ago!). And I almost missed these adorable pillows of joy, too! By the time my tween daughter “got ready” to go grocery shopping, we didn’t pull into Costco until nearly noon. It was busy. The aisles were crowded with people handing out and waiting for samples, as well as folks simply trying to do what I was doing and just fill their carts and get out of there. I was trying to be as efficient as possible, so I stuck to my shopping list and didn’t wander the aisles like I prefer to do. But when I realized I missed something on my list, I had to circle back and that’s when I strolled by the end cap these adorable ravioli were featured on.

These ravioli come in a two-pack of pumpkin-shaped ravioli made with orange dough and bat-shaped ravioli made with black dough. And it’s quite possibly the most delicious ravioli I’ve ever bought from a store. Made with a blend of mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan and ricotta, the filling is super rich and creamy. So I stocked up (thankfully I have enough freezer space!) so we can enjoy them for months to come. I cut each package in half and popped one in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. Like we did last year, we’ll eat some when we carve pumpkins and another package on Halloween before we go trick-or-treating. Who said we had to confine them to spooky season? Not me!
