Do you remember Taco Bell’s $2 meal deal? It was a legendary combo during my college years. Partly because of the unbeatable price, but also because my dorm was directly across the street from a Taco Bell. The budget-friendly meal included an entrée, such as a Double Decker Taco or burrito, a drink, and a snack size bag of Doritos.
While those days of extreme value may be in the past, the chain certainly makes up for it with a never-ending supply of deals and innovative new menu items. Last spring, Taco Bell launched the $5 Discovery Box which featured the Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco as well as a crunchy taco, Doritos Locos Taco, and a drink.
Later, it added the Luxe Cravings Box to menus which included four filling menu items such as the Chalupa Supreme and the Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, all for $7—a major savings when you add up the prices individually.
Now, Taco Bell is hitting the ground running as it kicks off 2025 with a new flavor of Nacho Fries and two creamy Baja Dream Freezes, plus three new Luxe Cravings Boxes that will satisfy your hunger without breaking the bank.
Taco Bell’s $5, $7, and $9 Luxe Cravings Boxes
Following the success of the original Luxe Cravings Box, the chain is expanding its offerings to bring customers even more value. Starting Jan. 16, three new premium combos are hitting menus nationwide.
Each Luxe Cravings Box is loaded with a mix of the chain’s most popular items and includes a variety of entrées and sides. Plus, each one comes with a drink, so you can snag a Baja Blast without spending any extra cash.
The new boxes start at $5, with options for every budget and level of hunger. But don’t worry—even the biggest Luxe Cravings Box won’t run you more than $9. (Plus tax, of course.)
Here’s what’s in each meal deal:
- $5 Classic Luxe Cravings Box: Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink.
- $7 Supreme Luxe Cravings Box: Chicken Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Crunchy Taco, Chips and Nacho Cheese Sauce, and a medium fountain drink.
- $9 Discovery Luxe Cravings Box: Doritos Locos Tacos, Crunchy Taco, Cinnamon Twists, and a medium fountain drink. Additionally, a rotating recent menu item will be featured giving fans the opportunity to enjoy the chain’s new releases alongside classic favorites.
Taco Bell’s new Luxe Cravings Boxes will be available until early June, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of the savings. And if your “Dining Out“ budget is still maxed from the holidays, we’ve got you covered with plenty of Taco Bell copycat recipes, so you can keep reminding yourself “We have Taco Bell at home” until you’re ready to hit the drive-thru again.
